Today, we’re excited to share a significant milestone in our journey as leaders of sustainability and ethical business practices within the consumer electronics industry.
Nimble was awarded a prestigious Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.
This accolade is a testament to our unwavering commitment to corporate responsibility, as Nimble’s Overall Score ranks in the top 2% globally among companies in our industry assessed by EcoVadis.
Earning the Gold Medal was both challenging and rewarding. We underwent an in-depth review that scrutinized every aspect of our business operations, focusing on 21 issues grouped into four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The EcoVadis assessment process is supervised by a scientific committee of sustainability and supply chain experts, requiring companies to submit a comprehensive questionnaire, along with supporting documentation. Combining public information from more than 10,000 data sources, a thorough review is conducted by EcoVadis to produce a unified scorecard for our company.
The EcoVadis methodology is underpinned by international sustainability standards, including the United Nations Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation. Over 95,000 businesses collaborate with EcoVadis to drive positive impact worldwide, including Toyota, Amazon, Unilever, LVMH, L’Oreal, Salesforce, and Johnson & Johnson.
This Gold Medal rating is more than just a badge of honor. This assessment provided us with invaluable insights into our performance and opportunities for further improvements, driving us to advance our efforts even further.
As we celebrate this moment, we’re reminded that our journey is never complete. We’re motivated to push the boundaries of what is possible, to innovate responsibly, and to lead by example. Our sights are set on not just maintaining Gold Medal status, but also on fostering a greener, more equitable, and more sustainable world for all.
